This page will show you the process of making this 18th century bodice and skirt. In first year of my degree TR2 (a sister of the Theatre Royal Plymouth) set the class a live brief. I was given an image of an existing costume from the series Poldark. After research, the task to make an interpretation of this photograph was set. The final costumes are to be used in the 2020 celebrations of the Mayflower anniversary. The process of making these taught me a lot, as it was the first full costume I had ever made.
