As part of the final year of my degree I decided to interpret Catherine Martins' design of Daisy from The Great Gatsby. I have always admired the glamour of the 1920's, so wanted to capture that in this costume. My favourite part of this project was dyeing both the Crepe Satin and the Chantilly Lace to colour match the design. It was also my  first time making a Sinamay hat, which I also enjoyed doing because of the neat, intricate sewing involved.
